Its Kind of a Funny Story...

Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Talk about a roller coaster ride of emotions! My favorite band, The Head and the Heart was playing a sold out show at the Crystal Ballroom with Iron and Wine. I was crushed, I wanted to see them so bad, but alas, I am poor. Then randomly, on twitter, they announced they were having a free show at Music Millennium. Me and my friend Madeline FREAKED OUT. We freaked out a bit to prematurely because the show got cancelled due to poor scheduling. We were crushed, it was the worst feeling ever. After laying on my bed in sadness for a while, I got a frantic knock on my door from Madeline. Thanks to her crazy ass desperate tweet, Josiah, one of the band members, had put us on the guest list for the show. SO WE GOT TO GO FOR FREE. It was probably one of the most exciting feelings in the world.

the tweets I got from the band. One apologizing for the mishap, and one replying to my crazy ass thank you tweet.

We felt pretty badass when we got to walk up to the box office and say we were on the guest list. It was silly. And of course, The Head and the Heart Rocked the show. IF YOU HAVE NOT PURCHASED THEIR ALBUM YET, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?

After the show, we were able to chat with Josiah and thank him for being such a nice guy.
And the next morning he tweeted us this :)

Overall, such a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Not only is the Head and The Heart an awesome, talented band, they are full of some pretty compassionate people.
