The Weekend

On Saturday mornings in the good ol' park blocks of Portland State, there is a lovely, quite large farmers market. Vendors of all sorts come out and sell their delicious, fresh products. The market is super fun for people watching, the best of Portland comes out for it. After getting the best vegan pizza ever (I didn't have time to take a photo, I ate it so fast) me and Madeline went and hung out at our friend Isabelle's chocolate shop. Her aunt is the owner of Alma Chocolate, and let me tell you, I wanted to eat it all. They had the best caramel, toffee and chocolate evar. It was super cool to be able to sit behind the display, felt like we were special and a part of something quite exciting. Even though we were probably just getting in the way.

We also went to Goodwill across the river. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but I found something amazing. I really was desperate for a light jacket for spring, and Madeline and a bunch of other people have these totally awesome jean jackets, which look cool. And, low and behold, I found the best one EVER for 10 bucks. Its Levi's, in amazing condition and fits super well! It was destiny.

I've been really wanting to use my self timer on my Nikon D5000, but I've been finding that all my self timer pictures turn out blurry, while the point and shoot ones are just fine. What is up with that yo?
