Super Secret Super Fun.

Last night was a really good night guys. Like, super duper good. Me and my friends Josh and Madeline decided to road trip it to Josh's house in Lyle, Washington for a night away from the city. And when I mean away from the city, I mean in the middle of nowhere. It was fabulous.

We started by going the scenic route, so we could take some photos of the waterfalls. They were majestic, to say the least. We got close enough to the point where it seriously frizzed our hair. It was worth it.

When we got to Josh's house, we were blown away. It was basically on this giant hill on a field. You could walk through the field to get a gorgeous view of the river gorge. Josh's house was a few little buildings. There was Josh's barn with his bedroom, the main house with the kitchen, and the outhouse, which was the cute little yellow building. It was so beautiful and unlike anywhere I'd ever been, I even loved the outhouse. It was also gorgeous and sunny, though windy as hell. I could seriously get used to living there.

we spent a lot of time taking pictures in fields. I don't really know what look Josh was going for in this picture..

Me and Madeline are totes twinsies for life. You can never go wrong with a denim jacket, dress, tights and boots combo. Hipster dress code.

Husband.

I am so in love with Casey Abrams. I had dreams about him last night. And they were not PG rated dreams. He is scary amazing, especially in this video. I've watched it soooo many times.

Nostalgic

I miss dis boy. It is crazy to think it has been almost a year since I flew all the way to Chicago just to go to prom with him. We may be livin' on different coasts, (me in Portland, him in New York) but true friendship goes the distance. These pictures are also a sad reminder of how blonde and spray tanned I used to be. I'll be back to that by summer, for when him and I reunite!

The Wednesdays

This is my expression of the day. To be honest, I am not sure what to make of it exactly, but it is the first photo I took on Photobooth, which is a sure sign of how you feel exactly. Maybe I am making this face because I have two midterms tomorrow, which means lots of studying tonight. Maybe I am making this face because I had wonderful dreams that I didn't want to wake up from. Or maybe I am making this face because I am craving sushi like no other, but have to go to class. Shocker, it is a combo of all of those things. I am also kind of disturbed that I can scrunch my little eyes that tight. Not cute! I hope y'all are having a good Wednesday.

Inspirations.

I have been on such a Tina Fey kick right now. I have less and less been idolizing Katy Perry (even though I will always love her) and have been obsessing over this funny ladiez. Because lets be honest, she is real. And she is sexy. And she is smart as hell and hilarious. And we seriously need more women like her for girls to look up to. Think about it. Since Tina left SNL, it has not been the best. Without another one of my heros Kristin Wiig, it would be a disaster. She was talented enough to land a spot on Weekend Update, which since Amy left, has been done alone by Seth Meyers. Also, Tina Fey wrote Mean Girls. How many times have you seen that damn movie? I am sure you can almost quote it word for word. Without Tina, we would never know that Damien's Nana takes her wig off when she is drunk. Without Tina, I would have so much time left on my hands because I wouldn't watch every damn episode of 30 Rock in Netflix. Tina also wrote an amazing new autobiography, called Bossypants. If it wasn't 27 dollars at Powell's I would go out and buy it right now. But I did spend the other day in Powells reading it for about 2 hours, and the parts I read were hilarious. Absolutely brilliant. Go read it.

so hard to choose a Liz Lemon moment. I love them all.

Cath Kidston

While procrastinating my little heart out, ( so much for productiveness) I found this amazing British store, Cath Kidson. This brand pretty much has everything, from apparel to iphone cases, and I want it all. They also sell fabric, which would be wonderful for when I start making tote bags again this summer! It is beyond girly and floraly, which is my favorite. If I had an iphone, I would buy one of those cases right away, so cute. I might just have to save up my money for that floral backpack, my North Face backpack is too rugged and manly for my liking :)

far left.. I need that. I don't even care if I don't have an Iphone.

Floral bags! Floral bags! I LOVE FLORAL BAGS.

Productive!

Hello everyone! I hope your Monday has been well! Surprisingly, mine has been productive. I went to class, went to the gym, took out the trash, cleaned my room and didn't spend any money! These things for me are a big deal! I am hoping I can keep this positive attitude going through the week. I could use it. The weather here has been seriously bi-polar, it is killing me. One minute it will be gorgeous, the next minute it will be grey and pouring and miserable. What happened to the beautiful weather from the weekend? I need that back now.

something to live by!

Oh, and I've been really into the band Middle Brother right now. So good.

Stuff I Love Sunday!

This weekend flew by. Being home is an experience I treasure so much, since moving out. My family is so dysfunctionally hilarious, I am so in love with it. Us crazy Cookes know how to drive each other crazy and have way too much fun. I am now on the train, so ready to go back to Portland and finish up my freshman year. It is so crazy to think I have only six weeks until I move out of Broadway 412. Time flies.

Anyways, here are some things I love and need in my life!

This gorgeous Portland poster. I want this framed and in my house next year, please.

Michelle William's hair. She rocks the platinum blonde pixie cut like no other woman can. I wish I was brave enough/pretty enough to do something like that without looking manly. I cannot wait to go back to blonde hair for the summer.

Pink, vintage mini cooper. My dream car.

future husband take note, my engagement ring(s) should look like this :)

Amtrak FTW

Sorry I've been so MIA the past couple days, a girl gets busy with life sometimes! For those of you who don't know, I currently live in Portland, but am from Woodinville, Washington. This weekend I decided to come home for some random things. The way I come home is by train, and it is wonderful. It takes about three and a half hours. Today was a particularly lovely train ride because it was GORGEOUS out. I realize why I put up with all the rain on the west coast, days like this are so worth being patient.

The Portland train station. Undergoing major construction, but cool non the less.

Chillin' in business class like a pimp.

After my dad picked me up from the train, we had to go to a super secret fancy schmancy car place to pick up my dad's Porsche. Whenever I go there, I feel like I am in a super hero movie, when the superhero goes to look at all the top gadgets and cars and things.. It is essentially a giant warehouse, completely white on the inside, filled with the most expensive cars in the entire world. I couldn't even take picture of the inside. That is how top secret it is. While we were there, we visited my dad's old Porsche, that he totaled in a car accident. We are selling the salvageable parts, so the car was completely gutted and looked really really sad.

4/20

It makes me laugh to see all the statuses regarding 4/20 on facebook. I mean, I have no problem with marijuana whatsoever, but I think all the posts calling it "the best day of the year" is a little much. In my opinion. Or maybe I am always just a little bitter because April 20th happens to be my mother's birthday, so I never got to toke up. Riiiight. Either way, it is Wednesday and I am stressed, thanks to procrastination. (What else is new?)

I am really happy I got a twitter, because the people I follow lead me to find really great amazing things, like the new lookbook for shop Ruche. The theme is Basket of Sweets, and the clothes are just so damn cute I want to rob that online store. If that is possible.

These are my top 3 favorite looks

I found this map on Pinterest last night, and I thought it was pretty accurate. I especially enjoy the fact that the two states I've lived in are full of rainy hipsters, which is true.

One more thing. How freaking cute is this guy? I can't wait to get an English Bulldog of my own. I am naming him Dude. Just callin' it right now.

Dominozz

Today was a super exciting day you guyz! My friends and I were super creative and productive.

Lover of the Light

Happy Monday Y'all. I hope it is a good one. I personally am not feeling this day at all, but it's okay. Coffee and Lady Gaga will get me through this one. This whole weekend me and my friends were hermits in my room watching the live Coachella feed. It was almost like being there. Except not at all. Did you catch any of the performances? Mumford & Sons was my favorite for sure! They premiered new music and it was magical! The things I would do to see these men in concert. Oh Lord.

Romantic date ideas full of twinkling lights and warm nights and cuddling and such. Le sigh..

Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry's red and white Coachella style.

Gorgeous, feminine floral sleeves. If only I was that bold.
