I have had a serious obsession with the south for as long as I can remember. If someone asked me if I could choose to go anywhere in the United States, I would without a doubt say New Orleans. Not so I can flash my boobs, though that would be quite exciting, but just because there is so much culture there. Yummy food, creole, cajun, french speakers, plantations, an amazing history. After Hurricane Katrina, my intense desperation to go to New Orleans grew. Plus, I want to experience real humidity, so I can be thankful of west coast weather.
Honestly, I am surprised that I have never been to the Redwood Forest, with my dad being such an outdoorsy fellow, and a closet hippy. I want to go camping there, right now.
Salvation mountain is always I place I've been dying to go. Ever since i saw it in the movie Into the Wild, I have been fascinated with this place. I have watched so many videos about the creator of this crazy colorful place and what it means to him. I want to help him paint more.
and of course there is more on my list, but these are a stand out few.
